Desk Report: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested Parimani, a popular actress of Dhaka film, from her home with new drugs LSD, ice and foreign liquor. After his arrest, he was taken to the RAB headquarters. He has to stay there all night.
Major Hussain Raisul Azam Moni, deputy director of RAB’s legal and media wing, said Parimani was kept at RAB headquarters after her arrest.
According to the responsible sources of the RAB, a case is being prepared against the arrested girl. A case will be filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act for possession of drugs. RAB is investigating allegations of pornography and blackmailing against him. If evidence is found, separate cases will be filed for them.
Besides, Nasir Uddin Mahmud, a businessman of Boat Club, who was jailed for 15 days in a case of attempted rape by his girlfriend, is also preparing a case against him.
According to Banani police station sources, if the RAB members file a case and hand it over to the police station, Parimani will be sent to court today showing arrest in those cases.
Earlier, RAB-1 members raided Parimani’s house around 4pm on Wednesday (August 4) on the basis of specific allegations. At that time, Parimani came on Facebook Live and informed everyone about the matter. He said some people in different clothes were asking him to open the door with a calling bell from outside the house. I’m scared.

Later, the door was opened at 4:35 pm after seeing various media outlets and members of the law enforcement agencies through the verandah of the house. Then the RAB members entered and started searching.
