It is learned that under the special initiative of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to recover the economy damaged in the Covid-19 situation, 89 people in the upazila were given incentives in the fiscal year 2020-21 in favor of the Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) to improve the living standards of the marginalized people. Rural Entrepreneur Loan of Taka 56 lakh 70 thousand has been disbursed. 4% of the two year term loan will be repaid in 18 installments with service cost and capital.
