Turkey Is Sending Firefighting Aircraft To The Disaster-Stricken Turkey

Desk Report: Turkey devastated by fire. The fire has spread to Greece. Turkey is sending two firefighters to Greece to help put out the blaze.

In a phone call on Monday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlt Cavusoglu told Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias. News Daily Sabah.

“Mevlt Cavusoglu told me that Turkey would send two firefighters to Greece,” Dendias wrote in a message on Twitter. I thanked him (Kavusoglu) for this.

Firefighters and local residents have been trying to put out the blaze on Avia Island for about seven days. The country has witnessed a record temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in three decades.

Greece has already sent planes, helicopters, fire engines and manpower from more than 20 countries in Europe and the Middle East to help put out the blaze.

Turkey has been burning for 13 days. It is still burning in two places in the Mughal province of the country. However, the situation is improving, the authorities said.
