The Indian Visa Center Will Accept All Types Of Applications From Wednesday

Desk Report: Indian Visa Centers in Bangladesh will be open from Wednesday (August 11). Visa centers will accept all types of applications except travel visa.

The Indian High Commission in Dhaka announced the decision on Tuesday (August 10th) on its verified Facebook page.

According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Visa Application Centers in Bangladesh will reopen on Wednesday (August 11) in the wake of the lockdown / lifting of restrictions. All applications except tourist visa will be accepted. Applicants do not need to make any appointment or permission to apply at the Indian Visa Application Center (IVEC).

Earlier, in the wake of the lockdown announced by the Bangladesh government from July 1, all Indian visa applications were closed. After about a month and 10 days, the Indian visa centers are being reopened.

There are 15 Visa Application Centers (IVACs) in Bangladesh managed by State Bank of India. They are located in Dhaka (Jamuna Future Park), Jessore, Khulna, Mymensingh, Barisal, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Thakurgaon, Satkhira, Bogra, Noakhali, Brahmanbaria and Comilla.

India issues business, conference, diplomatic, job, emergency, entry, journalist, medical, missionary, re-entry, research, student, tourist and transit visas within two months through the Visa Center.
